Your Olympic Wrap UP
Sunday night was so exciting watching the Men’s 400 Relay. Michael Phelps was first then two guys in the middle (that seemed to drop like rocks in the water compared to him) and then on came the final leg with Jason Lezak. This guy was amazing!
US wins Gold!
Then I watched the Men’s gymnastics on Monday night. These guys had no hopes of medaling at all, but they fought hard and hung in there even against the questionable scoring practices.
US wins Bronze!
Women’s Fencing won all three medals! There they stood on all three podiums!
US wins Bronze, Silver and Gold!
Tuesday Night I stayed up to watch more Michael Phelps and of course more Gold Medals for him individually and his relay team. There was no one even near them in the water and world records have been broken all over the place!
US wins Gold and more Gold!
Then I watched the Women’s gymnastics and I have to say they did try hard, but they are all young and they seemed scared to death. They wobbled, they fumbled, and they fell. It was a shame really; they came so close to gold, but ended up with silver. Again, I have to question the scoring practice. Inconsistent and illogical.
US wins Silver!
But I think the most questionable part is the ages of Team China, you can show passport ID’s all you want, but those girls are no where near the age of 16. The eldest, who says she is 20, is probably the actual 16 year old and the others cannot possibly be more than 14. Especially the “beam specialist”. She has to be about 10. Whatever. China wins Gold, duh.
