Tonite I went to see the movie, The Blindside, with Sandra Bullock. It was a sweet story based on true events about a young boy named Michael Oher. It wasn’t enough to bring on the tears, but there definitely were laugh-out-loud moments and audience participation for cheering on the good guys. Of course, here in Bama, when Nick Saban walked on screen he got a round of applause.
I think the best part was coming home, turning on the TV to see the Steelers playing the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. Michael Oher was right there, wearing number 74 and playing pro football on my TV! I won’t rub it in that they beat the Steelers in over time. I will remind us all that there is good in everyone and sometimes we just need to be reminded. This movie is a go-see.

It’s nice to see the Ravens with a success story. It’s just too bad that he’s playing on the same team as a murderer.
You can rub it in about the Steelers losing. It’s just not a good year. At least the Vikings are doing well, eh? Only one loss! ;)

No doubt! Ray Lewis is a murderer! And yes, Vikes one loss to who? the steelers. Hope Big Ben is better soon.

We did ok with Dennis Dixon the other night. I wish My Boy Troy would get better. Yes, he does deserve capitalization.
If The Blind Side is still playing locally after the semester is over, I will make Shane take me to see it.
