Playing off Val’s comment to yesterday’s post, I do watch Modern Family. Last night the husband, Phil, gave his wife great anniversary gifts and the wife gave him “hug coupons”. She said, as a typical man, he never states ideas for gift giving. Next scene he’s counting off his fingers and rattling off a dozen different things he wants: night vision goggles, speakers that look like rocks, a yogurt machine… Cracked me up! So I paused the scene and turned to Hubby. Perhaps if I replay the scene for him, he will play along?

“You’re going to get hug coupons if you don’t give me an idea of what you want for Christmas this year”    He starts counting off his fingers and rattling off a dozen different things: school girl costume, naughty nurse costume, sexy copy costume…

Oy! I walked right into that one.
